My TV-Saturday
I had it planned so thoroughly but it failed anyway. I managed to see TVD, but not SPN.I had to wait until this morning for that. Next week I'm thinking about kicking family out and locking the doors.

I don't like how Damon is crawling around Elena. That bugs me. He's way too cocky to be doing that. But this episode added a new twist which I like; Tyler Lockwood's long lost uncle coming back. Could be interesting.
Tension is growing, again, between Damon and Stefan. Stefan is getting nastier towards his brother and that may be a good thing. Damon has been steam rolling over him for too long.

And the SPN season premiere.
I'm not sure what to expect from this. Dean is weird, Sam is weird. Lisa is misplaced. And where the heck did the Cambells come from? And where did they go? As for the acting; stilted and stiff. I had this creeping feeling that neither of the guys were particlularely into this. Of course I'm going to watch the season, all of it, no way I'm missing out. But I do hope they get some more emotion going other than Dean looking miserable. What did we say about too much epic man-pain? That's right, no fun in the long run.
I was hoping for a move back to seasons one and two when it comes to the boys' relationship, I'm still hoping for that, the connection between them. Sam did try, small effort but still a try. On the other hand; I saw the inteview with Jensen Ackles were he seems less than happy with how Dean is portraited now. Dean is not a softy, he kicks ass.

I SO SECOND THIS!! Both of your reviews are exactly what I was thinking too. I really really really hope that Sera Gamble has something in mind that really makes sense in the end as much as I hope Damon will be back to his old cocky self. As much as I like him being hurt by Elena (damn Suffering!Damon shipping) but where´s his "going on a killing-spree" aditude?

Just discussed this with my best friend yesterday while watching (and rewatching SPN for a better understanding) that if it weren´t for 2 x 2 insanely hot actors, both shows are going down a very crappy road..neither are what they supposed to be..Hope it get´s better by progress.

*hugs*

Well, one can assume that there is a plan behind the odd actions in SPN. There is definitley something going on between Sam and Grandpa, and I bet Grandpa has an agenda of his own. Lots of meaningfull looks were exchanged.
As for Dean biting the bullet and staying with Lisa; I doubt it will last much longer.

Damon needs to get a grip. The dratted writers need to get a grip. Whimp!Damon is not plausible after how he's been shown off earlier.

Rant over.

::hugs::

Yeah, the season opener wasn't exactly what I was hoping for or even expecting. Have you noticed that Dean is acting like Sam from season 1 and Sam is acting like Dean from season 4? And it's just not right. I mean, I know people can change, and Sam's changes are actually sort of to be expected in the direction he is going, but Dean's changes are totally out of character. It's not him developing, it's like him becoming a completely different person.

As I said, I don't watch TVD, but who knows maybe your comments will convince to some day.

Exactly! Role reversal. I'm not so sure I like it, but there is horpefully a point to it. Not giving up yet.
Dean is acting weird though. I find it hard to believe him switching like that. But on the other hand, he has always been a stickler for protecting the weak, and if he thinks it's his fault Ben and Lisa are in danger...
Do give TVD a try. It'll be worth your time, promise.

Yeah, I'm not giving up either. It's still my favorite show, even if it's mostly for the fond memories from the first two seasons.

Okay, I will make a plan to try TVD, as soon as my download queue gets a little less crowded.
