Rape jokes are fun, right?
I cannot believe the stupidity of this girl!

Neighbour's somewhat odd daughter managed to scare the bejeezus out of my daughter's friend today. She grabbed her and shouted 'Let's rape her!' Little friend came running here crying, terrified. She may be a little sensitive, and not all used to physical playing. But so what! She got so scared she began to cry.

I rang neighbour and told what had happened. Neighbour did nothing but send her girl over to apologise. I asked said girl why the hell she was making rape jokes for. She answered, and this is a direct quote, 'I have a sense of humour'

She also tried to discard the matter with that she had tried to ring and apologise immediately after daughter's friend had run off. Obviously, apologising via mobile after making bad jokes and scarying someone to tears makes it alright. And obviously, rape jokes are something really funny and nothing at all to be upset about.

Neighbour's girl does not in any way or fashion understand the wrongness of making rape jokes. I'm afraid that she doesn't  understand the concept of rape either.

I'm gonna sit over here, being humourless, and steam for a bit.

Wow. I´m don´t know what to say about that..let´s hope and pray that this girl never finds out what a true rape means or feels like. I really do hope that.

Let´s just write it off as something a stupid girl said that has no idea of what she was saying at all. Or else I have to doubt mankind completely.

Plus, the Mom confuses me too..how can she be so less-caring about this? I´d freak out if my daughter would say something..

Is there some place left where you´re sitting? Because, obviously, I´m humourless too.

I hope your daughter´s friend is doing okay again!

I'm pretty much speechless myself. Mom ususally do this, pass the problem on to someone else. I mean, she can't get the girl to tidy her room even.

I have a spot on the veranda, we can be humourless together. I'm glad someone beside me is this humourless.

Daughter's friend is alright. I had to hold her for a bit and wipe some tears, but it's good now.

Not funny. I suppose she has no idea what she was saying. Someone (her mum) needs to have a Talk.

Well, mum had other problems to deal with. Always had. Perhaps that's why the girl is having the attitude she has. I don't know. It's scary.

Too bad you couldn't explain what rape is to her. Graphically. Preferably with drawings. (Frankly, I would only consider such an explanation a success when SHE left sobbing.)

I so wish I could, without traumatizing her for life.
Seriously, I think she has the wrong gender identity. She's really a boy. Looks, behaviour, body language, everything say boy, not girl. She's messed up, to say theleast.

OMG this makes me want to smack that girl, and I don´t believe in hitting kids.....

I have the urge to hit her every so often. She consistently says and does weird things. I do hope she gets her shit togehter before she says the wrong thing to the wrong person.
