Covet Interlude
The first gentle rays of dawn caressed the night away from the rooftops of Port Royal. They twinkled and twirled their way into all the dark, hidden corners of both small and large houses, into the garrison where the soldiers got their wake up call. They blinded the maid at the Norrington residence when she tried to cheer her crying mistress up by showing her the beautiful day and pulled the drapes away fromt the windows.
They could not really reach the Commodore under his duvet where he dreamt lust filled, shame filled dreams.
They showed Will Turner the way to the last bottle of rom, which he grasped with shaking hands and drank, trying to forget Jack's last words.
Jack Sparrow got caught by them on his way down to the docks. He didn't care since he was too busy wiping the tears from his eyes. He could have blamed the sun for making his eyes water if he had noticed, but his heart was shattering and he couldn't really be bothered with a blazing sunrise.

This day, which would be a lovely day, promised nothing but sorrow.

Imagine her stumbling about, falling over. Not a good way to keep a job, is it?
